Students will benefit from improved coordination, rhythm, and musicality, while also developing their ability to express emotion and tell stories through movement. This workshop will empower you to explore new ways of moving and connecting with your body and music while allowing you to experience the thrill of combining precise percussive rhythms with the expansive movements of contemporary dance.

Briana Ashley Stuart is an international dance artist, pedagogue, choreographer and entrepreneurfrom Detroit (Michigan/USA) whocurrentlylivesandworks in Brussels. After earningtwobachelor'sdegrees in dance andsociologyfromthe University of Michigan, sheperformedandtaught as a professional dancerwiththecontemporary dance company SJEwing & Dancers ent StepAfrika!, theonly dance company in theworlddedicatedtotheart form of stepping.
